Make Hands-free Calls
Talk about worry-free driving. StreetPilot 2820 integrates Bluetooth wireless technology with an included microphone and speaker, so you can talk hands-free on a compatible cell phone while staying focused on the road. Motorcyclists can connect a Bluetooth-enabled headset or helmet* simultaneously with a cell phone to talk or receive wireless navigation audio prompts to their destination. Now there’s no more fumbling with your phone’s handset to answer a call or dial a number.

Navigate With Ease
StreetPilot 2820 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the sunlight-readable screen or use the remote to enter a destination, and the 2820 takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to take your eyes off the road. In addition, the 2820 accepts custom points of interest (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras, and includes proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

Add Traffic, Weather, Radio
With an optional XM antenna and a subscription to XM services, you can check the weather, move ahead of traffic and listen to XM radio when you travel with the StreetPilot 2820. As an alternative, the 2820 can receive optional TMC traffic alerts (in select cities) when used with a compatible traffic receiver. Simply touch the screen to view traffic details or recalculate your route to avoid traffic.

Stay Entertained
For fun on the road, you can listen to MP3s and audio books. The MP3 player allows you to browse music by artist, album and/or song. Optional audio books may be purchased from audible.com which features over 70,000 hours of audio programs.
